Crux gets Caught With his Pants Down

In Sodaack I was cruising for Zs when I saw an NHD sitting in space next to a Z15F. Assuming this pilot was in need of help I flew over to see who it was. It turned out to be vile pirate Crux Mason, an enemy of the Empire. Seeing his ship was damaged and nonresponsive, I flew back to the planet to outfit some missiles. I was so pleased to have a chance to punish this disgusting fool that I forgot to actually *use* those missiles once I engaged him.


His skills had improved since last we fought, and I also forgot to reset my ship controls from the defensive posture it was in for fighting Zs. The result was that it took me an embarrassingly long time and a ridiculous number of shots to destroy Crux's ship. Nonetheless, the pirate had to take another ride in his escape pod.

More Euryale Skilling

Another Euryale has shown up, this time in an (undisclosed here) nook. As you can see, it has many suitors.

Prince Ilhan was kind enough to inform me over the comm channel that an adult Euryale at large in Nari. I flew right over there to test my skills against this most dangerous of all opponents (perhaps other than the Lucidi).

On to Sodaack and more Z skilling

Stheno Still Offers Nothing

Varamin and I were conversing on the TIRO comm channel when he saw a Stheno in Shishi's nook. WHile Varamin quickly ran supplies to the MO to wall off the beastie for training purposes, he goaded me to take a shot at it.
After 10 rounds of intentional combat (and 13 rounds of the Stheno chasing me out of the nook), I forwarded my ship's combat metrics system logs to Varamin, and we concluded that the Stheno is indeed not enough of a challenge for me. It will, however, provide good training for other pilots in the area.

A Lucidi squad still patrols Procyon, and I am off to battle them.

Changes Afoot

Well, I have agreed to take over the starbase Crystal Castle for Varamin, and with it comes some necessary changes. First, I escorted fellow TIRO Robian Silverwing on the long dangerous trip from Split to the PEC, and then helped him get a Harrier with which to more effectively trade with the starbase (since I don't want to do it myself). In order to remain close to the base I have left off skilling on Zs in Nusakan and have started to carefully skill on the dreaded Lucidi.


Pursuant to that I dropped my gats for peashooters and installed a large shield. We shall see how it goes.

Hydrowarz came back to try our MO again, and after ambushing on him again, I went back in for some dogfighting, and managed to kill myself on Hydrowarz's guns.
