News from Home

Today I was tuning in to my alliance (TIRO) frequency, and heard that the alliance P.O.T.W.O.R., based in Lamice, is no more. It was dissolved when its leader, Saprolegnia, was arrested by the Galactic Council for illegal cloning activities. With some skillful diplomacy and a little luck, TIRO leaders may be able to recruit some of the displaced P.O.T.W.O.R. members to join TIRO.

The Lamice sector is close to my home sector of Ska, and is part of the Empire Ska'ari Cluster (ESC), which I call home, although I have not been back to visit much in recent months.

The last time I was in Lamice I was on a multipurpose trip back to the home cluster: I was there to pick up some leech babies from Ishira in Exinfa, and assist in control of the bioscavengers near the planet Lamice. I received my Bioscavenger Squasher medal from the Empire to add to my Young Space Dragon Butcher medal. After receiving my medal, I brought the leeches back to my current base of operations in Procyon, in the Pardus Empire Contingent (PEC), where they are in short supply.

The Procyon sector is where Varamin, our alliance leader, has his starbase, named "We Made It". It is there that I have contributed to the local economy by building a Radiation Collector, Electronics Facility, and Heavy Plastics Facility. These structures, which we call "buildings", are space-based structures, like minitaure, specialized starbases or satellites. Varamin maintains careful control of the local economy to the benefit of all who participate, and my buildings make me a good subsistence income.
