The barabarians have struck again, this time destroying Pax Imperia. This does not bode well for Nari, or even Heze or Nunki. As I was running supplies to this starbase, I almost certainly would have had another ship blown out from under me if Gkarr had not asked me to cover for him in supplying the buildings in Southern Nunki. He inadvertently saved me quite a bit of trouble.
Achieving more rank will be difficult now, as I dare not cross Nari for quite a while, and good missions are scarce outside of the PEC. I volunteered to cover for Talog in stocking the Procyon nook as well, but I fear to cross Nari again.
In my nervousness, I have installed a short-range scanner and another light defense artillery (LDA), which I have directed my workers to upgrade immediately to a standard defense artillery (SDA). I will upgrade it ASAP to a heavy (HDA). The short-range scanner alerts me to any ships flying suspiciously close to the starbase.
Also, I have been elected Nunki Sector Manager by the alliance (I ran unopposed).
In other news, Cpt. Trips (a fellow TIRO member) has ordered a fully outfitted PASC. I have installed a shield generator factory to accommodate his order.
