As the war was winding up I decided to spend some time in Quana in the ESC helping to clean up their constant pirate problem, when I heard that Nibenay, an ex-TIRO and an old friend who happens to be a Union pilot, was terrorizing Imperial traders and inexperienced Imperial fighters in Pass EMP-01. I flew to the pass to try to dissuade my old friend from these crimes, to no avail. I tripped his ambush twice; both times Nibenay's ship was destroyed by the automated combat response systems in my superior ship.
Unable to chase Nibenay off, I set an ambush of my own, and Nibenay tripped it; again his ship was destroyed. It is unfortunate that I should engage an old friend in combat, but once Nibenay's attacks came to my attention, I felt it was my duty as an Imperial noble to make the area safe for less powerful Imperial subjects.
